I just (2 days ago) nailed down a DNA match on a line I was sure of but didn’t have all the documentation for! One of only 4 lines I couldn’t find documentary proof of back to the 1790’s.

2 of the other lines involved orphans, but THIS line involved a line where I was sure of the parents, I just couldn’t get my hands on all the documentation to prove it, due in part to the fact that a courtroom burned down in Williamstown, NY in 1881.

So, with this match to my 5th cousin once removed, whose 4th gr-grandmother was my 5th gr-grandmother Mary’s sister (Mary was the mother of my 3rd gr-grandmother Phoebe’s father Clark, and the missing proof was that Phoebe was Clark and Luna’s daughter), I can finally rest assured that ALL my research on this line was correct, and Phoebe IS, IN FACT, Clark and Luna’s daughter!!! YAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!!
